The Wheat Ridge Business District (WRBD) was formed in a joint partnership between local business owners and the City of Wheat Ridge to help revitalize 38th Avenue – the City’s traditional “Main Street.” The effort has been expanded to serve businesses throughout the City of Wheat Ridge.
The Wheat Ridge Business District administers several grant programs for Wheat Ridge businesses. The grant programs are matching grants up to specified limits. This means for every $1 spent by the business, the WRBD will match $1 up to the specified limits.

- Up to $5,000 for conversion of pole signs to monument signs
- Up to $6,000 for facade improvements

- Up to $2,500 towards a Visual Impact Special Project that increases curb appeal
