Create Your Own Habitat 6-8 yrs Summer Art Camp with Sweet Ridge Studios
A habitat is the cool science word for where we live and all the beautiful items in it. Science and art are good friends and they love to co-create! In this art camp students will design and build their own imaginary habitat including dwellings, living creatures, plants, food, and transportation. From cardboard tree houses and structures to animal puppets and plant drawings, students will work with a wide variety of mixed media to fabricate their habitats. Using techniques like texture printing and charcoal drawing, they’ll bring their habitat creations to life. Campers will also have the opportunity to make their own fairy doors and portals, adding a touch of magic to their habitats. Bring your imagination and join us for an unforgettable summer of discovery, creativity, and fun! Students are welcome to register to stay for lunch from 12-1 between morning and afternoon camps.
