Movies on the Ridge

Join us for Movies on the Ridge at The Green located at 7101 W38th Avenue here in Wheat Ridge!

We are happy to present American Flyers as part of the celebration around The Ridge at 38 Criterium Bike Race. This movie celebrates Colorado’s long history of great bike races and will get you and your family in the spirit for the big Criterium Bike Race on Sunday September 12!   The 7-Eleven team that is featured in the movie was a real life team that competed in the Tour de France and Giro d’Italia in the 1980s. The team was later sponsored by Motorola. Much of the race action was filmed at the Coors Classic, a bicylce stage race that was one of the world’s leading cycling events at the time of the film. Two stages in the film’s featured race, the Morgul-Bismarck circuit race in Boulder and the “Tour of the Moon” at Colorado National Monument, were legendary Coors Classic stages.

Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and join us on The Green, 7101 West 38th Avenue.

While the movie will start at dusk, be sure to come early to claim a good spot, You can get dinner or snacks from our local businesses on 38h Avenue before the show starts.

The Polka Folka Band will be on hand to add to the festivities. Personal Achievement Martial Arts will be on-site to offer free fitness demonstrations before the movie starts.

No alcohol, smoking or vaping.
If you or your family are feeling sick, please stay home.
There will be a blanket-only area in the front.
Toilets and trash bins provided. Please keep the green beautiful!
