Quilling 9-12 yrs Summer Art Camp with Sweet Ridge Studios
Quilling is the art form of paper rolling and gluing that results in stunning creations. Students 9-12 years of age will be provided all the materials and tools to create an original image of their own design. Similar to creating a stitching sampler in embroidery they will first complete a quilling sampler. Once these skills are mastered they will then draw an image they can quill, applying their acquired knowledge from the sampler. This art form produces incredibly beautiful and detailed pieces of art. It is quite satisfying for students who love to work with their hands and enjoy the peace that high concentration activities generate. Students are welcome to register to stay for lunch from 12-1 between morning and afternoon camps.
