Trunk or Treat is back! 

Join us for a fun and safe trick-or-treating experience for kids and their families. Participating businesses and community members decorate their cars and trucks with creative disguises and hand out candy to kids. The event also features a trunk decorating competition and Trunk or Treat Cash. Don’t miss out on this spooky good time.

If you are looking for a fun and safe trick-or treating experience for your family, this event is perfect for you! Located on the “Green”, you will walk a pathway of fun, decorated trunks sponsored by our residents and businesses! Following the event, you can use our Trunk or Treat cash (with some deals available the entire week of the event)! More information and the unveiling of participating businesses will be available soon. 

What is Trunk-or-Treat cash?

Trunk or Treat cash is your ticket to keep the fun going in our Wheat Ridge businesses following the event. Participating businesses and their deals will be unveiled soon! We encourage you to continue the celebration with your Trunk or Treat cash. Each participant receives one “Trunk or Treat cash” that can be used once at all participating businesses.

How do I get involved with the event?

Candy donations requested: To help with the success of this free event for the community, we encourage you to donate a bag of candy! You can drop off your bags of candy at Stylus and Crate, Personal Achievement Martial Arts or the Localworks office, located at the Wheat Ridge United Methodist Church, 7530 W. 38th Ave. Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. If you are planning to drop your candy off at the Localworks office, please call 720-259-1030 to schedule a time.

As a resident: We encourage you to attend the event and/or host a trunk! Registration will open the week of August 22nd to secure your trunk spot, but to pre-register and secure your spot now, please email reception@wearelocalworks.org

Trunk-or-Treat cash deals

Colorado Brew Plus:

Colorado Brew Plus, located on West 38th Avenue, has a large selection of locally sourced food and beer. Colorado Brew plus offers a wide variety of refreshing options as they rotate through 56 different Colorado micro breweries to keep on tap – some are even made on site! 

Colorado Brew Plus has partnered with Localworks for this year’s Trunk-or-Treat event. In exchange for Trunk-or-Treat cash, they will offer one FREE kids meal and one FREE beer. This offer will be valid on October 22nd only.

 

West 29th Restaurant & Bar

West 29th Restaurant & Bar, located on the SE corner of West 29th Ave. & Depew St., offers “French-influenced cuisine in a casual, Colorado-inspired setting.” They describe their Restaurant & Bar as a place where the Old World blends with the New West. Food is locally sourced when available but always freshly prepared and delicious. The menu rotates seasonally with chef’s specials added weekly. The bar features European and Colorado beers on tap, handcrafted cocktails and a full wine list.  Indoor dining by the fireplace and alfresco dining on the heated patios.  Family friendly.

West 29th Restaurant & Bar has partnered with Localworks for this year’s Trunk-or-Treat event. In exchange for Trunk-or-Treat cash, they will offer one FREE kids meal and one FREE adult beverage. This offer will be valid from October 22nd through October 30th.

 

Little Brazil

Little Brazil, located on West 26th Avenue, has been serving the Wheat Ridge community for over 10 years! They offer a large selection of dishes that bring you a little taste of Brazil. Whether you are shopping in the market or ordering off the menu, you are sure to find something you like. Little Brazil prides themselves on their ability to bring authentic and delicious Brazilian food to our community. A couple of their most popular dishes include the Brazilian national dish, “Feijoada” and the fan-favorite, “pao de queijo.”

Little Brazil has partnered with Localworks for this year’s Trunk-or-Treat event. In exchange for Trunk-or-Treat cash, they will offer one FREE sweet or savory empanada of your choice, or one FREE chocolate or coconut truffle. This offer will be valid Saturday, October 22nd and Sunday, October 23rd. 

 

Audacity 

Audacity Wine Bar, located on West 38th Avenue, offers a selection of wine and food including charcuterie and a variety of “Aud Dogs.” Their wine list changes daily, so they allow for free tasting in order to ensure that each customer has something that they like. Audacity often hosts live music and events; be sure to check out their website to see what’s coming up! 

Audacity Wine Lounge has partnered with Localworks for this year’s Trunk-or-Treat event. In exchange for Trunk-or-Treat cash, they will offer one FREE glass of wine or beer. This offer will be valid Saturday, October 22nd and Sunday, October 23rd. 

 

Stylus and Crate

Stylus and Crate, located on West 38th Avenue, hosts a coffee house, waffle house and vinyl store all in one. Enjoy a selection of locally roasted coffee and freshly made Liege waffles. Stick around awhile and browse through their collection of Vinyl records. Stylus and Crate offers two different signature blends that are beloved by many. 

Stylus and Crate has partnered with Localworks for this year’s Trunk-or-Treat event. In exchange for Trunk-or-Treat cash, they will offer one FREE plain waffle and hot cider. This offer will be valid Saturday, October 22nd and Sunday, October 23rd. 

 

Clancy’s Irish Pub

Clancy’s Irish Pub, located on West 38th Avenue, is Colorado’s oldest and longest running Irish Pub with nearly 50 years under their belt. Clancy’s Irish Pub hosts events for Irish and Celtic culture-centered music and dance. Their menu offers a large selection of dishes and drinks! Clancy’s Irish Pub has partnered with Localworks for this year’s Trunk-or-Treat event. In exchange for Trunk-or-Treat cash, they will offer one FREE Ice Cream Sundae. Children may come in and make their own ice cream sundae! This offer will be valid Saturday, October 22nd.

 

Personal Achievement Martial Arts

Personal Achievement Martial Arts, located at 3964 Youngfield St in Wheat Ridge, offers a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment for everyone. Personal Achievement Martial Arts prides themselves in creating a place for individuals to develop and achieve their own personal goals. They want to be able to teach the necessary skills for self-defense and believe that martial arts is for anyone – regardless of age, gender or experience level. 

Personal Achievement Martial Arts has partnered with Localworks for this year’s Trunk-or-Treat event. In exchange for Trunk-or-Treat cash, they will offer one week of classes for FREE. This offer will be valid Saturday, October 22nd through November 30th. 

Infinitus Pie

Infinitus Pie, or iPie, located on West 38th Avenue, has been owned and operated in Wheat Ridge since 2010. Their menu has a large variety to choose from and their restaurant has an amazing patio with plenty of room for pups and bikes. 

Infinitus Pie has partnered with Localworks for this year’s Trunk-or-Treat event. In exchange for Trunk-or-Treat cash, they will offer $6.99 8 inch pizzas or $24.99 16 inch pizzas, each with six toppings for that price range. Infinitus Pie will also offer a free beer or kids drink. 

All of this information will also be accessible from the Trunk-or-Treat cash via the QR code on the back of the ticket.
