This fun run is not only to celebrate the launch and creation of Explore44, but also to provide Wheat Ridge residents and guests with more opportunities to interact with the corridor and the beloved businesses it’s home to.
Localworks is pleased to present Rad Retro Run: Journey Back to the 80s
Join us at 9 a.m., Saturday, October 19th at Hopper Hollow Park (6351 W 44th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033) for a one mile fun run and block party celebration that will allow you to adventure with Explore44. Running isn’t for you? No problem! This is a FUN run, meaning you can walk, jog, trot, traipse OR just come to the fun after party beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Race logistics: This is an untimed event! The goal is for you to have fun. You can walk, jog, trot, traipse, skip, whatever your heart desires. Your furry friends are encouraged to join us.

To mark the debut of the Explore44 corridor identity, a community block party will kick off immediately after the Rad Retro Run festivities. The block party will include a business resource fair, food, drinks, kids’ activities and an 80s band! This Block Party event is FREE, no registration required.
Throughout the block party event you will have the opportunity to be entered to win incredible raffle prizes and sample some of our favorite local food and drinks, many from our very own 44th Ave. Corridor!
