Dog Daycare Handler

We are seeking an experienced Dog Daycare Handler for our dog daycare and boarding part of our facility. You MUST have some experience in a daycare or boarding type setting to qualify. There are multiple opportunities for advancement at our facility for qualified people. If you have at least 1 year experience the pay begins at $16.50 for the first 30 day probationary period. If less than 1 year experience, starting pay will be determined based on length. Raises are every 3-6 months depending on performance.

About us and the positions:

We do small groups of dogs based on temperament and size etc. We rotate dogs all day for their play sessions. We are a balanced dog training facility.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Leash walking dogs to and from play and potty areas.
• feeding, watering.
• cleaning up after dogs, cleaning messes. Lots of cleaning! We all do it!
• answering phones
• checking dogs in and out.
• sending invoices, taking payments
• organizing the daily play groups

**We are urgently hiring for New Years Eve closing shift, New Years Day opening shift and New Years Day closing shift help.** Long term we need staff that can do closing shift of typically 2pm to 9pm or later depending on how busy we are. Shift could also start at 12pm. Weekends are 4pm to closing.

One weekend day or rotating weekend days are REQUIRED. Both weekend days are also available if desired. While we can definitely offer full time, we are okay with part time as well.
