Dog Handler/Kennel Attendant

Doggy daycare in NW Denver looking for help with various shifts (20-40hrs per week) throughout the week and weekends. CAN START IMMEDIATELY if available. Pay starts at $17.29 per hour; pay increase after 60 days considered based on performance. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK HOLIDAYS AND WEEKENDS. Shifts of 4, 6 and 8 hours may be available Monday through Sunday. Need someone who can occasionally be flexible with shift start/end times between our operating ours of 6:00a – 8:30p.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Monitoring dogs in play areas to ensure all dogs play safely together and have a great time! Includes being observant and detail-oriented (frequent dog-body checks) while in play group.
• Cleaning up after dogs
• DEEP CLEANING play areas and kennels
• Capacity to be patient with high-energy dogs
• Bathing dogs; Walking dogs (10-30 minute walks around our neighborhood)
• Feeding dogs (requires bending to floor to place/pickup bowls in kennels)
• Must be able to stand for 4+ hours; comfortable with loud sounds indoors (i.e. barking!).
• Ability to focus on the job…personal phones are not permitted in the play group.
• After initial orientation, must be able to work without continual direction
• ‘Work Location: One location (No remote work option)
