Ridgefest is an annual Wheat Ridge festival, hosted by Localworks, that celebrates the people, businesses, and outdoor spaces that make our community the best place to call home. This page is your go-to for all things Ridgefest 2026.
Join us on Saturday, June 6th, 2026, from 2-8 p.m. at The Green at 38th (7101 W 38th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO) for a festival that showcases everything that makes Wheat Ridge an incredible place to live, work, and explore.
Ridgefest is inspired by Wheat Ridge’s incredible parks, and the vibrant community that calls them home. We’re embracing the magic of Summer’s golden-hour light, and the joy of getting outside with friends and neighbors.
At Ridgefest, you can expect a full day of live music from local bands, food trucks from your favorite neighborhood spots, yard games, children’s activities, Makers on the Ridge, business vendors, a cornhole tournament, and, of course, a selection of local beer, and wine. Whether you’re here for the music, the activities, or just a good time with your neighbors, there’s something for everyone!

We’re on the hunt for a brew above the rest. If you’ve been to Ridgefest before, you know we bring together the best of Wheat Ridge’s breweries! We want to know…what’s your absolute favorite local brew??
The People’s Choice Beer Contest is back, and our hometown brewers are rolling out something special. Whether it’s a crisp, refreshing lager, a smooth and toasty stout, or a creative new twist on a classic, each brewery is bringing their best for you to try.
As you make your way through the festival, sample the contenders and cast your vote for the standout brew. It’s all in good fun, but there’s also a cash prize and a custom trophy (crafted at Clear Creek Makerspace) waiting for the winner!
How to vote? Easy. When you purchase a tester cup, you will be given a punch card. After you test all the brews, you drop your completed punch card into the bucket on your favorite brewery’s table.

Makers on the Ridge hosted by Clear Creek Makerspace, a program powered by Localworks, supports the growing creative and maker community in Wheat Ridge and in the surrounding Denver Metro area. We encourage anyone and everyone to showcase their inner maker. Participants may include tech-enthusiasts, crafters, scientists, garage tinkerers, artists and more. Think of Makers on the Ridge as a craft faire focused on the creators. At this event you can buy handmade goods, talk to artists about the process they use to make their art, learn a new skill, or network with local artisans, makers and creators.
