Shop Wadsworth
The Improve Wadsworth project is close to its halfway point! Localworks in partnership with the City of Wheat Ridge is launching a campaign to get YOU on the corridor to support businesses as the project continues. It’s time to revisit your favorite local spots – when you shop local, you can win local!
Join Localworks and the City of Wheat Ridge in shopping along the Wadsworth corridor within our Shop Wadsworth challenge. Businesses that are eligible for you to complete this challenge with must be located in Wheat Ridge.
We are giving away FIVE $1,000 CASH PRIZES and FIVE year ONE YEAR memberships to 3rd Shot Pickleball! (3rd Shot Pickleball will open by the end of 2023 and will be located at 38th and Wadsworth Boulevard).
That’s right, there’s no catch! All you have to do is shop at your favorite local businesses, and you will be entered to win one of our ten prizes. Here’s what you have to do to be entered:

If you would NOT like to submit digitally you may also print out the sheet linked above, and attach your receipts, screenshots, or signed meeting memo. The printed version can be mailed to PO Box 346, Wheat Ridge, CO 80034. Please make sure to include your contact information, including your preferred phone number and email address.
How to Complete Wadsworth Business "Passport"
There are THREE different categories assigned to the businesses along the corridor. Category 1 is restaurants, category 2 is retail and category 3 is miscellaneous goods and services.
Each category has a task that needs to be completed in order to be considered for giveaway prizes provided by the City of Wheat Ridge. Proof of participation is required. This ONLY includes businesses in Wheat Ridge. Participants may enter the giveaway more than once, as long as the checklist is completed multiple times (i.e. each completed checklist counts for one entry).
The campaign will run from October 16th- December 10th. The drawing for our winners will take place via Facebook Live on Tuesday, December 12th.
Category 1: Restaurants
Participatants must spend at least $150 TOTAL at one, or more, of the restaurants along N. Wadsworth (currently stretching from around the 32nd St. cross-section to the 52nd St. intersection)
- Alt. option: eat at three of the restaurants
Category 2: Retail
Participants must spend an additional $50 at one, or more, of the retail locations on Wadsworth Blvd (same as above).
Category 3: Misc. Goods & Services
Participants must set up a consultation/general meeting with at least one business on Wadsworth Blvd.
Again, this campaign ONLY includes businesses within Wheat Ridge city limits.
How do I prove it?
For category 1 and category 2, receipts can be sent to reception@wearelocalworks.org.
- For category 3, a screenshot of the phone call/video call, or a meeting confirmation can be sent to the same email address.
- When sending your receipts and screenshots, please include the best phone number to reach you at in the body of your email.

- Businesses that fall under cross-categories are valid for participants to submit to either one one or the other options above.
